The Interiors

The Locale

This vibrant and livable year round beach community of Playa Velilla features the longest beach in Almunecar measuring 1,360 meters. Located between Playa Tesorillo to the east and Playa Puerta del Mar to the west, Playa Velilla is a mix of laid back ambiance as well being the liveliest area of town,  full of restaurants, bars, music venues, galleries, ice cream shops, coffee shops,  apartment blocks and hotels lining the sea front   The highlight of Playa Velilla is the new approved Puerto Deportivo Marina Almunecar located at the western end of the Paseo Velilla.

The Costa Tropical

Almunecaris located in the heart of the Tropical Coast Costa Tropical, which meanders along a shoreline of picturesque beaches and pristine coves, complimented by the beautiful backdrop of the mountains and the warm waters of the Mediterranean. 

What makes the Costa Tropical unique is that the mountains of the Sierra Nevada range fall to the very edge of the Mediterranean Sea on the rugged coastline. This has prevented urban sprawl like other Spanish coastal areas.

The Sierra Nevada mountain range also serves as it catches more rain and thus supplies the area with abundant water.
